A fourth grader could have produced sufficient evidence if there was no consideration of careers, shame, awkwardness, “bars” or any such nuances.

This POS member of the ruling class is the progeny of the greatest generation. Amazing that in a single pass, we go from people who owned and guided this great nation from a Christian worldview, believed in the value of honesty and hard work, altruism, American exceptionalism, who celebrated genuine heroes, modeled ethical behavior, hated and warred against oppressive forms of gov’t, weren’t offended easily, invented just about everything useful today to an generation of morally bankrupt, self-serving, thoroughly corrupt, nonredeemable piss-ants. From We the People to Me the Person. One generation! All-time WTF? I’m ashamed and embarrassed to be among them.

Hillary dodged prosecution for the same reason Lois Lerner did for her abuses of power at the IRS.

The corruption in both cases criminally implicates many of the highest level and most powerful politicians in Washington, up to and including the President.

Hillary emailed corresponded with most high level players, probably using the other parties down low, off the books secret private email accounts that they used to communicate in secret without public scrutiny. The entire Obama Administration was corresponding using their secret email accounts to plan and implement their agendas in secret from the public.< /p> Indicting Hillary would expose the secret email networks and open a huge can of worms

BS! Anyone remember the case of George V. Hansen who was in line to become chairman of the House Banking Committee once the GOP took the majority? He was not only charged but convicted and jailed on charges which were totally bogus and later overturned.

It was a pure political prosecution because he locked horns with the IRS.

Then there was the case of Alcee Hastings of Florida who was impeached as a federal judge for bribery and malfeasance at about the same time but never served a day in jail. In fact, he has been representing the Florida house district he resides since shortly after his impeachment.

Hansen, a decent and honest man, was jailed on a bogus two-bit campaign charge which, even if true, was less than the charge brought against Geraldine Ferraro for which she was allowed to skate for a token fine.

Prosecutors have no hesitancy going after people in political office for even the weakest of charges so long as they have an "R" after their name.

As others have noted here, there are numerous people involved including State Department and White House people. A can of worms would be opened and the administration would be covering for everyone passed the election. Comey was bullied and then caved.

Which is bass-ackwards. Politicians (even the good ones) are kind of a semi-necessary scum film parasitizing their livelihood off those of us who create wealth. They’re kind of necessary, but the fact that we could exist without them, but not the other way around, and that we have to work for their pay as well as our own, should always be the first thought in everyone’s mind any time they think of a politician or other public employee. How can they even be entitled to the same degree of presumption of innocence as normal people, ever?

We the people have allowed this transgression and have no one to blame but ourselves. Congress for years have excluded themselves from some of our laws and stolen money from us and we have done nothing.

The reputational loss public officials face from criminal charges can be so great that prosecutors feel that they need to be sure of a conviction before going forward.

I guess this means that the little guys don't have a reputation to defend. The politicians and business leaders have people and money to help defend them. We little people don't. Therefore, we can be sacrificed. The role of government is to enure a level playing field. Comey just spoke volumes about how unlevel that field really is.

the bar for bringing criminal charges against a politician Democrat, particularly a high public official Democrat, is so much higher than they are for anyone else.

Nonsense.

The bar wasn't high enough to protect Caspar Weinberger from indictment for Iran-Contra just four days before Bill Clinton's election, but it was too high to indict Eric Holder for running guns to Mexican drug cartels.

Just admit that Democrats get a free pass, except when a lower level Blago takes the rap for a higher level Obama.

Surely someone in this rats' nest of corruption is chargeable with violations of mishandling secure information.

FBI Director James Comey’s decision Tuesday didn’t treat Hillary differently from other high public officials

Obviously false.

Wasn't David Petraeus a high public official when he was charged?

Ilse Koch was thrown in prison for far less than Hillary Clinton.

Clinton is the new Bitch of Buchenwald and deserves the same fate as Ilse Koch.

Bravo Sierra. The bar is only unobtanium when a RAT is involved. Just ask Ray Donavon, Labor Secretary under Ronald Reagan. After exonerated of all charges asked, where he can go to get his reputation back.
