As others have noted here, there are numerous people involved including State Department and White House people. A can of worms would be opened and the administration would be covering for everyone passed the election. Comey was bullied and then caved.

And, that is PRECISELY what we need right now. We need a good housecleaning. Time to water Jefferson’s Tree of Liberty, perhaps.
There needs to be serious progress to a Convention of States, or even a split of the nation into the ‘utopia’ the progressives want, and the real freedom that comes with much less government, much more personal freedom, and the obligate to personal responsibility needed to secure that freedom for the future.
They found the weak link in the chain. It was Comey. The rule of law ended today in the US. He could have just resigned and have the the dirty deed done by someone else . Whatever he got for this I hope it was worth it to him.
