Microphones can be aimed/placed where ever the director wants them. I listened to Zero’s stammering YouTube linked here and it sounded like a huge audience was cheering him on. At Trump’s rally, the mikes are far from the audience, perhaps even needing to be picked up by Trump’s single stage mike. Why doesn’t Trump control the cameras at his rallies?
Went to the rally. It was raining hard outside in the beginning. But every seat was taken and some were standing in the aisle. I think it has a seating capacity of 2300 plus a little standing room. It quit raining and the spillover crowd could also hear Trump.
