Why is Corker traveling with Trump to NC. Please, please tell me he’s not the VP.

Probably because Corker is known as a "Southern Gentleman"...and they're in a southern gentleman state.

I, too, hope it's not Corker...but his appearance here makes sense. Good move on Donald's part.
