Getting through the line at the TSA can be a long and uncomfortable process. For one Chattanooga teen and her mother, the process turned into a scary nightmare.
19-year-old Hannah Cohen was returning home from St. Jude's Hospital with her mother for treatment of her brain tumor (a trip they had made for 17 years), when Hannah somehow set off the metal detector at the security checkpoint.
TSA wanted to do a further scan on Hannah, but she was reluctant. Hannah's mother, Shirley Cohen, tried to inform the agents that her daughter was disabled. She is partially deaf and blind in one eye, paralyzed, and becomes easily confused. “They wanted to do further scanning, she was reluctant, she didn't understand what they were about to do," she said.
Despite her concerns, Shirley was kept away from her daughter by police. Hannah, obviously afraid, tried to get away from the grips of the TSA. “She's trying to get away from them but in the next instant, one of them had her down on the ground and hit her head on the floor. There was blood everywhere,” said Shirley.
The teen was arrested, booked, and sent to jail. “Here we were with nowhere to go, not even a toothbrush, our bags had gone to Chattanooga,” said the distraught mother.

I would be in jail if this were my daughter. As it is, I’m disgusted and mad. This “agency” needs to be dismantled and every single employee fired.
I passed through Logan the day of the Cole bombing and commented to my wife about the Muslims running security. Today, those same Islamic adherents who allowed the 9/11 terrorists through the gates are still employed, but they now wear uniforms and are paid Davis-Bacon wages. The entire debacle was another Bush era capitulation that proves Washington elites hate real Americans.
Have any of you ever been through Memphis Airport? One will have to look long and hard to find a non minority with the TSA there.

Yeah I would sue big for this. At least half a million. Injury, pain, suffering and the humiliation. These part time a holes should have known better too.

The women was handicapped, disabled. The mother tried to explain it to these apes, and they just brushed her aside.

Yes I have TSA precheck and global entry.
But it doesn’t apply overseas.
I still had a muslim Brit go through my luggage at Heathrow with a fine tooth comb including smelly underwear LOL

I remember when there was still decency among the airport personnel. Once I was returning from abroad and at the customs I was asked the motive of my trip, I said “I went to bury my father”. I was not only immediately checked through but he alerted an attendant who put me in first class on my connection. 20 years have gone by, I still remember with gratitude that gentleman. Last time I flew was 7 years ago and it was not a pleasant memory.
AT this point in history, I fear my government more than I fear the Islamic terrorist.
Answer truthfully, would you not fear calling the FBI, DEA, ATF, ICE or any of the alphabet agencies if there was an emergency? I would and will not call any federal agency, with the possible exception of the Border Patrol, since they are as under fire as we are. I call my sheriff’s offic.
Do you fear TSA at the nations airports? I do and no longer fly for any reason. If I cannot get there in by car, truck or motorcycle, I do not go.
OMG!!! That poor poor girl. I would LOVE to administer a baseball bat tenderly to the heads of the TSA goons who did this. I hope the family sues until it hurts and then sues again. The cretins that did this need their butts FIRED and then jailed for a couple of years. This is an outrage!

My observation of TSA. A bunch of fat @$$ inner city hood rats with glue down sculpted hairdos, one gold tuffess, speaking a foreign language I guess to be Ebonics and oozing attitude like, “we be dah Tee-say”.
Every single time I go to the airport, I think, here is the gubbamints version of affirmative action. Give a bunch of half illiterate, lazy, inner city blacks government jobs that would not otherwise qualify for in the private sector.
