I stopped after the fourth word.

The day these people can demonstrate a firearm, any firearm being violent I’ll join them.

Indeed, ideologically driven, lethal-shooter attacks represent a considerate threat to national security.

considerate ≠ considerable

considerate: thinking about the rights and feelings of other people; showing kindness toward other people

oooh that Paula Broadwell..... definitely an avid social climber, an adulteress, a person of low character.... she does have much in common with another public figure who has utilized the services of one Dee Dee Myers (former Clinton press secretary):

[from Wikipedia] "Following the revelations about her relationship with Petraeus, Broadwell has retained the services of former Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Myers[58] with the public relations firm The Glover Park Group. The founders of the group have previously served as officials in the Clinton White House and on the presidential campaign of former vice president Al Gore"

Paula picked the wrong catfight (her opponent had a friend in the FBI).

Bad judgment.

According to the FBI, 70 percent of shooter incidents occur in an educational or business environment. Needless to say, Charlotte is headquarters to many large banks and corporations. These and other “high value targets” can become “target-free zones” by changing their vulnerability profile.

The easiest way to change their "vulnerability profile" is to remove the restrictions on carrying weapons and encourage responsible employees to carry weapons.

1. Fire back until threat is neutralized.
2. Restrain yourself and others from charging out immediately, frightening police forces into defending themselves by firing upon you.
3. Collect change from fellow survivors for a pack of nabs to eat while police forces wait outside just to be sure all shooting has ended.
4. Upon encountering the bomb squad’s threat assessment robot, empty your hands and smile harmlessly into camera. Keep hands out to either side and do not make any quick gestures.

“64 school shootings” — I’m guessing this means shootings that happened on school property and could include things like gangs fighting in the parking lot.

There is truth and good ideas in many places.
What all individuals should realize is, that in truth they are their own best ‘first responder’.
It is ludicrous to me to hear some say, “oh this was so unexpected” and “we never thought this could happen here.”
You will only hear these words from the un-informed and non-thinking.
We know human nature and every human is capable of doing what any human ever has.
So in essence we should expect s**t to happen, we should learn how to anticipate it better.
We should learn to believe someone when they say they would like to eat our livers, and wash it down with a fine Chianti, or you are infidel and should die. And quit saying “ah, he did not mean that.”
Hey stupid (government) take a killer at his word. I have actually met a couple real ones and these were not nice people.
We should stop lying to ourselves about ourselves and accept that we are, what we are; right now, mostly a foolish and violent race.
The only way to eradicate, crazy or emotionally charged un-controlled violence in the human race. Is to meet it with a superior, unfeeling violence. This is something we do without feelings of hatred or revenge.
Basically there are two types of ‘bad’ people out there; one that wants to gain off your misery and one that just wants to see you miserable or dead.
It is not your job to change these people. Really now think about it, for most people how good are you about changing yourself? So, what kind of luck do you think you will have with others?

I had to force myself to read much of the rest, which I knew must eventually lead to a recommended "active-inactivity."

Getting past the 'considerate' for 'considerable' and lumping every gun statistic, probably unconsciously, into an 'ideologically-driven' category was a teeth-grinder.

This kindergartener basically recommends quality-circle rehearsals of sheltering in place, or passivity, instead of a full metal jacket.

Hinting at wider CPR training isn't completely brain dead, but it's obvious she and I don't live in the same world, so to speak.

CHOICE; killing about 3,300 every day; represents NO threat to national security.

Since 1970, more Americans have been killed on U.S. soil due to gun violence than all wars combined.

Since Roe v Wade; more than 58,000,000 potential American CITIZENS have been killed.

I'd like to know where she got that info or is that just a liberal shock statement that's completely fabricated. That's one of the things I've learned dealing with Alinkskyte radicals the last 7+ years - never believe any of their facts or statistics when they use them to make a point. Most likely they are completely fabricated, drawn from irrelevant data, or skewed and used out of context.

Cut state welfare and the state bureaucracy by 50%. Use the savings to train and arm the state militia. If a shooter pops up, the odds are favorable that a number of armed and trained militia members will be in the area to take out the bad guy.
