id you hear the latest about Tim Tebow? He prayed with a woman as her husband was dying from a heart attack during an airplane flight.
Isn't that disgusting?
"I think I'm going to throw up," one commenter wrote.
There have been thousands more like that posted on websites that carried that story. They should provide plenty of material for psychiatrists studying Tebow Derangement Syndrome (TDS).
The malady triggers foaming at the mouth among two groups. One believes Tebow would be a great pro quarterback if only the anti-Christian NFL hadn't blackballed him.
That has waned a bit as Tebow has drifted into other ventures. The other strain of TDS appears to have no cure. You know you have it if you're upset over what Tebow did Sunday on a flight from Atlanta to Phoenix.
A passenger suffered a heart attack. The Delta crew sprung into action and a physician's assistant named Nicki Freeze started administering CPR.
As anxious passengers watched the drama, Tebow left his seat to see what was happening. Nobody knows what he actually said, but Tebow leaned over and hugged the stricken man's wife and prayed with her and her friend.
A couple of passengers took pictures and posted them on social media. The story was picked up by the mainstream press. I read a few hundred comments, and I'd estimate 60 percent praised Tebow.
Here's a representative sampling of the other 40 percent. Psychiatrists are hopefully standing by.
"Tim Tebow was getting in the way while trying to be a missionary on a plane? What a putz!"
If Tebow had impeded the rescue, I'm pretty sure the flight crew would have firmly ordered him back to his seat. Instead, photos show the man's wife holding onto Tebow throughout the ordeal.

John 15:18 applies.
American Christians may well have to get accustomed to what Christians in Europe and Asia Minor have been facing for years: cultural hatred.
We may not face (yet) execution or public hangings. Western civilization, though dying, still has a wee bit of moral capital left from the influence of the Judeo Christian ethic. But being shunned and dismissed is very very possible.
Franklin Graham has been traveling to all fifty state capitals this year. He urges followers of Jesus to: repent of their sins, pray for our leaders, to pray for repentance of our nation, AND to run for office at every level of government. Who knows if God Almighty will have mercy on us? Our duty/calling is to call upon Him.
My opinion is that we are currently reaping what we’ve sown since the beginning of the progressive movement—somewhere around Woodrow Wilson’s administration. With ebbs and flows, we’ve moved steadily toward statism and pushed the Creator out of our minds, hearts, and laws.
The “new deal” of FDR made a mockery of the work ethic, the Great Society and micromanagement of wars under LBJ made whole families dependent upon government while at the same time weakening respect for strength.
The “no fault divorce” mentality, the endorsement of abortion, the idea of sexuality as sport and not of commitment denigrated marriage. Now, marriage is mocked with the current Canaanite definition.
We’re simply seeing the fruits of that: economic sluggishness, worship of the State, and rage in our streets over simple law enforcement.
We are a kakistocracy.
Again, though bleak, God can awaken our hearts. We are called to pray and to love our neighbor. And while we are also to speak the truth, that truth must be tempered with a genuine caring for people. If not, the Gospel is not being given a true testimony.
Whatever happens, we are called to be true to Him. John 15:18 applies.
Amen.

The spirit of anti-Christ is rising very quickly. No psychiatrists needed. It’s evil, impure and simple.
John 15 -
18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.
Rejoice and be glad, Mr. Tebow, your name is written in the Book of Life. Final victory is yours.
Tebow did exactly the right thing given the circumstances
Exactly the right thing
Satan runs wild as a buck in America and his vessels of deceit are wholly unaware what possesses them
I saw a young man die violently last month
I thought later I wish I had Tebows presence of mind
Quite a bit of media is supporting Tebow even ETonline
And a lot of passengers joined in
Encouraging
The malcontents likely the usual
The only thing I have seen prayer interfere with is satan’s plans.

Tebow is a very good man. He is hated because he is a great example for youth while being an outspoken Christian.
Decadent celebs are fine, Tebow is not, with a certain crowd.
Tebow’s only downfall? He’s not quite good enough to play quarterback in the NFL and he has trouble facing that. He should have switched to tight end or an H-type back and he would have had a good career. But for him it’s quarterback or nothing. That’s his choice and fine, it’s the fans who are missing a man who could have been an exciting and valuable player.
Tebow endorsed Trump! Why the constant attacks?
Well done, Tebow.
“Liberals” are filled with hate. Period.
There is a war on Christianity and any public display of it. Muslims pulling out prayer rugs in the aisle no problem.
Um, because he endorsed Trump? And because he is a Christian?
BTW, I know you knew that. Just wanted to put it “on the record.”
If the world hates you, you are doing something right.
Dear Father in Heaven. I know you command us to love our neighbors. But it is so hard to do. Especially with people who hate You so much.
These people who hate Tebow hate you even more.
And I cannot help but hate them in return.
Show me how to carry out your command to love my neighbors, including those who want to kill both You and people such as Tebow.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
That would be clutch. And so pro-American.
Demons react that way.
Wonder if we’ll actually see a demon leave someone soon.
There are a LOT of people running around that have totally given themselves over to Satan. Most of them are rats.
Are you still killing your unborn? -- GOD |
And verse 18; too!
“Tebow left the plane with her and collected her luggage. He put it in the car that was waiting for him and took the woman to the hospital.
“He stayed with her as a doctor broke the news that her husband had died. Then he went on his way and didn’t say a thing about it.
