Oh, kickball. I thought that it was something important.

I guess you would say the same about Brexit?

The markets hang in the balance. And perhaps the world hangs on the markets.

No! It started when the Dodgers left Brooklyn.

Nope. They’re married. Domestic violence.

Ref: “KURWA MAC!!!!!”

I am hearing a good bit of that our village. It was a great game — overtime, went to penalty kicks. The Poles acted with a lot of class both on and off the field throughout the EURO Cup tournament.

Poland should be a good team for the immediate future. They just need to learn how to handle playing with a lead.

“Sports reflect the hopes and prayers of men and women. Soccer is no different.”

My hope is soccer players start using their hands.

Portugal beat Poland 1-1. Makes as much sense as anything else in soccer.

Poland, the last Slavic country still in the running, was eliminated on the same day that the University of Arizona, the last team from west of the Mississippi, was eliminated from the College World Series.

There must be some connection. Probably global warming caused both.

Watched this earlier. Good game even though penalties was probably not the way anyone wanted it to end.

I enjoyed the game too, it seemed to me that Poland had a great strategy for getting out of the group stage, and the talent is clearly there, but they needed to up their level of play just a notch to secure wins in the knock-out stages... Looking forward to the rest of games, especially Italy and Iceland!! Cheers, HK
