There are whole swaths of the electorate essentially unreachable by telephone by pollsters, including me; it just makes me wonder how accurate ANY poll is.

If this story is accurate, it shows how woefully inadequate the current Republican Party older generation is for the state of the world. Trump is 70, but he is WAY MORE YOUTHFUL in his outlook and energy than apparatchiks like Kasich.

I still think younger GOP officials— folks like Ryan, Rubio, Stefanik, Cotton, etc. are in a tough spot. They may want to stand on principle but the lure of the establishment and its power is tempting...

a new round of polls that showed Kasich besting Clinton in swing states

What could possibly be the purpose of this kind of polling when Trump is the nominee? The answer is obvious.

Modeled electorate. As in modeled climate change. Just create whatever narrative suites the purpose being advanced and the media will hop on it. Kasich is a prop for the GOPe and comes off sounding just plain goofy. During the primary debates he acted disorientated and flailed around a lot. Another governor with nothing better to do than take a leave from his elected job to play at being a viable candidate for the presidency.

How many delegates did he win?

A Hillary suck-up now. A true-blue Democrat.

Why is anyone writing about him or inviting him to speak?

Only a loser network more interested in Hillary than Trump.

One-state Kasich. His home state. Third or worse just about everywhere else.

Yeah, he would have been a force to be reckoned with in the primary!

Governor Kasich wins 6 out of 7 swing states.

BOL. Team Kasich has been smoking some funny stuff with Gary Johnson.

This endless carping by those who lost the Primary--or those who backed those who lost the Primary--should be answered in a way that drives home the essence of the Trump campaign--the essential reason that all patriots must rally to Trump. Trump has made no bones about it. He has rejected what has been 'politically correct'--and, as such, a clear & present threat to an American future--by coming out four square for putting America & the Americans, First!

This is what is behind the very policies, which his detractors oppose--although they will not readily admit that they do not put America First, in supporting the policies that Trump has challenged.

Confront the dissemblers at every opportunity. "If you are not willing to put your fellow countrymen 'first,' if you are not willing to put America 'first'; pray tell us why the hell not; and why, if you are not with us, we should ever listen to anything you have to say."

Drive the point home. It is the issue that will resonate with everyone who is unhappy with the insane course our "leaders" have been on.

See The Issue.

[John Kasich suspended his run for president nearly two months ago, but his campaign is still arguing that he, and not Donald Trump, would be the best candidate to take on Hillary Clinton.]

Hang it up. We went for DON, JUAN.
