RUSH: From Yahoo News, try this headline: "Survey Finds Excess Health Problems in Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals -- Gay, lesbian and bisexual individuals reported more health problems than straight men and women, in a large US survey. For the first time since its launch in 1957, the National Health Interview Survey in 2013 and 2014 included a question about sexual orientation. With nearly 69,000 participants --" Are you kidding me? Sixty-nine. (laughing) I missed that when I originally read the story.
"With nearly 69,000 participants, the survey revealed that lesbian, gay and bisexual adults 'were more likely to report impaired physical and mental health, heavy alcohol consumption, and heavy cigarette use, potentially due to the stressors that (they) experience as a result of interpersonal and structural discrimination,' researchers wrote online June 28 in JAMA Internal Medicine."
Nearly 69,000 participants, the survey revealed that lesbian, gay, bisexual adults, quote, "Were more likely to report impaired physical and mental health, heavy alcohol consumption --" adult beverages "-- and heavy cigarette use, potentially due to the stressors that (they) experience as a result of interpersonal and structural discrimination."
So, discrimination, interpersonal and structural. In other words, overall, blanket discrimination is causing gays, lesbians, and bisexuals to drink more, to smoke more, to be more stressed, to basically be sicker than the rest of the population. And, of course, that is going to be deemed to be unfair, and this, of course, is going to require much more money to study, don't you see, and then we will get into great examinations of just where this stress emanates.
If all of this stress resulting from interpersonal and structural discrimination is leading to an unfair share of alcoholism, heavy cigarette use, and generally impaired physical and mental health, don't you think that investigators will find ways to scientifically, quote, unquote, blame all of this on the hate-filled, racist, sexist, bigoted, and homophobic Republican Party?
I can see it now. It may not happen next week, it may not happen next month, but one day you're gonna wake up and you're gonna hear a story claiming that white Christians and Republicans -- conservatives -- have led to greater health consequences and concerns for gays, lesbians, and bisexuals. And you're gonna think, "I heard that! I heard that! I heard that on... Oh, yeah, Rush Limbaugh told us this was coming."
Keep a sharp eye. "Overall, 67,150 survey respondents were heterosexual, 525 lesbians, 624 gay, and 515 bisexual. The average age was about 47." Wait just a second here. What is...? Are you telling me of 67,000 participants, 525 lesbians, 624 gay, 515 bisexual? So 1,700 out of 67,000 were gay, lesbian, or bisexual? I thought... That's about 2%. I thought they were the predominant group! Anyway, that's all it took: 1,700 gay, lesbian, bisexual people in a survey of 67,000 to produce these results.
"In addition, gay, lesbian, bisexual people also more likely than heterosexuals to report heavy drinking and smoking while gays and lesbians reported worse psychological stress than straight people. Bisexual people suffered the most." Now, we gotta find out why. We gotta find out who. Maybe they're being discriminated against twice. Maybe the gays discriminate against them and maybe the straights discriminate. Maybe they get a double dose of discrimination since they're bi. Who knows?
One thing we do know, more federal money will be allocated. We will get to the bottom of this. We will find what the explanation for this all is, and it will no doubt conclude that homophobia is rampant in this country and it's causing serious, serious consequences -- which will lead to suggestions and proposals for criminal punishment for those found guilty of homophobia and bigotry and hate and what have you. Keep a sharp eye, folks. It may be far away.

Good!!!
And independently of this, I’ve heard that “lesbians” have a higher rate of obesity than other women. Which somehow must be based on bigotry, if we go with the narrative here.
I’ve heard that gay men have much shorter life expectancy than other men.
I guess the liberals will say that is due to bigotry and the stress of being homosexual in a hetero-normative culture.
Conservatives will be attacked if they bring up that gay men as a group suffer from a whole host of diseases. We’re not just talking HIV and AIDS either.
But since these diseases are tied to the behaviors, we are homophobic and bigoted if we even mention the subject.
due to the stressors that (they) experience as a result of interpersonal and structural discrimination.”
This reasoning can be applied to any minority group of any kind.
So just waiting for reports that blacks suffer due to interpersonal and structural discrimination.
Ditto with Hispanics, and any other ethnic minority group. The same will be said of women suffering this way too.
But Asians will not suffer this way, because Asians are not really considered an aggrieved minority group.
“And independently of this, Ive heard that lesbians have a higher rate of obesity than other women”
Unfortunately no studies have been done to determine if lesbians become obese, or if obese women become lesbians
The Guardian ran with this and boy, did they get negative feedback in the Comments section! Even libs aren’t buying this garbage. Sodomy, bug chasing, drugs, violence, obesity, drinking, partying, endless venereal diseases and refusal to deal with their health issues is the reason for ‘poor health.’
This isn’t a new topic; for years deviants and their allies in the destruction of the nuclear family have maintained that their high rates of depression, suicide, and drug abuse were directly related to their treatment at the hands of “normals”.
The problem is that complete tolerance/acceptance doesn’t fix that; anyone who understands what these deviants do to each other knows that they can never convince themselves that they are “normal”...
And Muslims don’t make gays unhealthy? LOL!! Naaa...they just make them headless. Fools!
ISIS makes gays dead.
Anal lesions and Kaposi’s Sarcoma are 2 fun things that normal people almost never, ever have to think about.
About 10 years ago, Family Research Council put out a book called “Getting it Straight” that summarizes many studies on “gays.” The more acceptance they find, the more the negative consequences. If the problem were acceptance, then domestic violence among gays should be the same as among heterosexuals, instead of fivefold higher.
I thought it was due to climate change.
Hillary’s trying to get the gays back after Trump supported their right to bear arms in defense against Muslim murderers.
That went deep - he got the gays on both guns and Muslims. Millions of gays finally realized that they could actually be murdered because of Democrat policies, and the only one standing up for their lives is the Republican.
So - Hillary’s doing what she always does, reversing the specific truth of an issue. Trump protects their safety. So the MSM pushes the idea that conservatives make them sick.
Once you see the pattern, its easy to spot. The Rats have their rails and they always run on the same ones.
Does this surprise you? It doesn’t me.
It could be THE motto for the Twenty-First Century: “Sure you’re f***ed up, but it’s somebody else’s fault.”
Bingo-all that, and add the fact that they have a psychological problem to begin with-being homosexual-and you have an emotionally unstable individual.
As a comp case manager, I had to grit my teeth and remind myself that I didn’t need to be fired when I saw from the psych info that a client I was being assigned was a homosexual-I knew I would be dealing with a screeching drama queen, if not also an individual looking to perpetrate workers comp fraud-I have to say lesbians were the worst-they usually brought their partner/girlfriend along to wail and wring her hands, too...
Nah ...
It's the damn conservatives ...
Our Taxpayer-funded $3 million FedGov study proves that.
