While cities and states across America have been celebrating Gay Pride month throughout June, some members of the heterosexual community are celebrating their own day that many people didn’t even know about.
June 29th is being celebrated by some straight males and females as “Heterosexual Pride Day”. It has included marches and other events by those who say they want “equality” when it comes to sexuality and holidays.
As can be imagined, the trending hashtag on social media has been met with quite the backlash from those who say that the point of Gay Pride Month is to remember the struggle for equality and respect, something they say straight people haven’t had to deal with:

They ought to be praising the Lord for His work. Sometimes it takes for a person to be blind before they will praise the Lord for their sight, though.
Well that is kind of like being proud of breathing air.
Gifts given by God should have glory for them given to God too. When we start seeing that, then we will have a real basis for talk to the “queer” crowd.
Tom -- Heterosexual Pride Day is not being celebrated because of any specific hardship (except for having to deal with comments like yours). Without heterosexuals there would be no homosexuals, right? So we are celebrating heterosexuality which is responsible for all human life - hetero or homo. We are inclusive. You are not.
I’m a proud heterosexual. I use the equipment the way is was designed to be used.

If we did not know before that ‘gay suffering’ caused by ‘straight’ society and what as a consequence guilty straights owe their ‘gay’ victims is the dark heart of ‘gay’ empowerment and unrelenting demands we do now.

Normal people don’t have to go around with colored flags yelling pride. We are not torn by internal contradictions, doubt and shame.
