Purple, huh? You think you’ll be dry for the 4th?
We may have thunderstorms, which is not unusual for the 4th. We stay home, so it makes no never-mind to us.

There’s a chance for rain here on the 4th, too, and like up there, it’s pretty much par for the course. But the way things have gone so far this summer, it’ll probably rain everywhere in across the state BUT here.
We go to one of the towns close by for their show each year and park close to where they shoot them off. That way we’re underneath all those awesome fireworks as they color the sky.
Then we race home and park on a hill across the road from the farm. People shoot fireworks at their homes and we can see all across the county from that hill.
It was all rained out last year and we hope there isn’t a repeat this year.
