I tend to agree. Cops want a quick closure and no one ever does drug tests on the nuts like this. I’ll make a bet that she was on some type of prescription drug or pain-killer, and just had a ‘bad’ day.

I went to high school with some kid and his sister (she was four years older than him). Around five years ago, he would have been near 45...he was in the midst of a divorce episode with the wife.

The wife and daughter, along with the sister of this guy (and her son)...were all caught in a house by the guy, and shot dead. Zero drug tests done on the guy....cops just wanted the episode closed up.

I think if we established prescription drugs as one of the key factors in these episodes....we’d press for laws to eliminate the drugs from sales. No one really wants to discuss that talk though.

I know people on psychotropic drugs. Their personality changes. They act insanely and don’t remember anything the next day. I find it frightening but some people are desperate to numb themselves and the family doesn’t interfere because the “Doctor” prescribed the medication and they never question a “Doctor”.

Oho! You mean Big Pharma might get blamed for mass murders, like the NRA does now?
Don’t most users successfully manage their illnesses with these same types of prescription drugs, without going homicidal, just like the majority of gun owners?
I’m not totally against what you’re saying. Perhaps it would be a useful debate, which, so far, Big Pharma has managed to prevent.
My admittedly unscientific and entirely anecdotally-based opinion is that it’s probably not the USE of the drug which causes the meltdown.
More likely, it’s the sudden, unmonitored WITHDRAWAL.
