Why Does the IRS Need Guns?
Open the Books ^ | 16 June 2016 | Tom Coburn, Adam Andrzejewski

Special agents at the IRS equipped with AR-15 military-style rifles? Health and Human Services "Special Office of Inspector General Agents" being trained by the Army’s Special Forces contractors? The Department of Veterans Affairs arming 3,700 employees?

The number of non-Defense Department federal officers authorized to make arrests and carry firearms (200,000) now exceeds the number of U.S. Marines (182,000). In its escalating arms and ammo stockpiling, this federal arms race is unlike anything in history. Over the last 20 years, the number of these federal officers with arrest-and-firearm authority has nearly tripled to over 200,000 today, from 74,500 in 1996.

What exactly is the Obama administration up to?

On Friday, June 17, our organization, American Transparency, is releasing its OpenTheBooks.com oversight report on the militarization of America. The report catalogs federal purchases of guns, ammunition and military-style equipment by seemingly bureaucratic federal agencies. During a nine-year period through 2014, we found, 67 agencies unaffiliated with the Department of Defense spent $1.48 billion on guns and ammo. Of that total, $335.1 million was spent by agencies traditionally viewed as regulatory or administrative, such as the Smithsonian Institution and the U.S. Mint.

Actually, giving SMGs to novices is an advantage for those they come to get. They will be out of ammo in a few seconds. Then walk up and club em while they fumble for another “clip”.

Every federal agency has an inspector general’s office that is a law enforcement agency that investigates corruption within the agency. All of these people are armed and frequently make arrests. Everyone needs to calm down a bit.

The Congress allocated so much money that all of the state, local, and Federal agencies could get guns and all sorts of “Emergency Management” stuff.

The funny thing is that conspiracy theorists think this is some big plan. It is not. It’s a big trough and any agency for your local cops to health departments have become “preppers” to a degree that was unheard of 15 years ago.

And just like the military, woe to the person who dares to criticize the DHS.

It’s more military industrial bullshit.

Remember when Obama was running the first time, he proposed a federal police force, or armed federal force separate from the military. Everyone said he'd never do this, but he in fact has done so.

Local law enforcement could be ignored, when a dictatorial government decides that anyone critical of it is an enemy of the state. This is especially true if the citizenry is disarmed before such action is taken.

Unfortunately Marshall Law could be easily declared by an unaccountable executive branch, once enough chaos has been created by those who want more power for that Executive Branch.

Imagine a scenario where chaos at both political conventions is brought about by the left rioting. The media would promote the idea that the right is responsible for the chaos and violence.

The media would loudly blame conservatives for the violence, all the time ignoring the fact, that there would be no violence, if the socialist had not shown up in the first place. There used to be the right for peaceful assembly, but this is under attack by the left and its minions.

The ensuing violence could be used as an excuse to suspend the General Election, the Constitution, and the Executive Branch declaring itself in power for life.

Rome descended into dictatorship after the death of Caesar. Their republic was dead. The Roman people demanded a emperor.

The French Revolution, because of the lack of faith in God, descended into chaos, until the French people demanded a strong leader. Napoleon eventually declared himself dictator, and emperor.

The Wiemar Republic fell, because of socialist maneuvering and a crisis brought about by the Nazis.

The Nazis are socialist, the Communist are socialist, and the “Progressives” in the Democrat Party are socialist.

In the socialist mindset, the end justifies the means. Because of this anything can happen. So socialist aligning themselves with those who would destroy our Republic, comes naturally.

The socialist believe that they will prevail in the end. They believe that our country with its natural resources has a better chance of establishing a socialist utopia.

Unfortunately, just like the socialist who aligned themselves with the Mullahs in Iran, things don't always turn out the way the dreamers hope.

I pray this won't happen.
