Donald Trump welcomed Rupert Murdoch and his wife Jerry Hall for dinner at his luxurious golf course in northeast Scotland on Saturday, the final event of a two-day tour of his properties there.
Murdoch, 80, arrived at around 5:15 with wife Jerry Hall, 59, a former model who was previously married to Rolling Stone rocker Mick Jagger.
The pair rode up the road to the clubhouse in an SUV with Trump himself.
The MacLeod House, a restored 15th Century mansion on the grounds of the Trump International Golf Links Scotland, was the site of the meal.
After a visit to the clubhouse, the trio rode to the MacLeod house in a golf cart with Trump driving and Murdoch and Hall sitting in the back seat, facing backward. Hall moved to the front seat minutes later, leaving her husband alone in the back.

Nice!
I don’t think anyone cares one way or another. Mitt, Ryan and Scott Walker need to go with him.
When did Hall marry Trump?
Me too. Every day I see 59-year-old women who'd love to look as good as she does.
Who cares? I enjoy the commentary!
A friend gave me some 21 yo Bushmills. I thought it went down very well. Took it to a friend’s birthday party...he was a scotch connoisseur and said it was like “drinking milk.”
Interesting! I didn’t know Murdoch had married Jerry Hall. May not have had much business discussed, but it doesn’t hurt to get Murdoch on your side when it comes to what is on Fox, especially with Miss Megyn and a few others. I wish he’d tell #NeverTrump, just switched from Republican to Independent George Will to take a hike - he’s just not “all that”, even though he thinks he is.
Thanks, yes, I remembered Murdoch wasn’t a supporter of Trumps and that’s why I’d love to have been a fly on the wall during dinner. Just wonder what the conversation was. What’s that old saying about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer?
LOL, Ok if you insist.
rupert is for real. he is not the typical driftwood hillary flaunts.
the meeting is what hillary longs for....... one on one acceptance by the real movers and shakers.
Newscorp can be a very strong voice to deliver the make America great again message
I remember Jerry Hall as a Brit model from the mid 70s, so not sure how she’s 59 today? She had dated Brian Ferry, another Brit musician, at the time.
I guess she photographed ok but I always thought she was a total non-beauty. Horsy, very horsy-faced.
No, never was particularly beautiful IMO, but it’s the age thing I’m wondering about. She must have been just 20 when I first heard of her. And, yes, very much the horsey face.

Agreed. She looked awful in those pictures in Scotland.
I actually didn’t see the photos. I guess she had something but these powerful men pass around women in a way I find incredibly distasteful. I can still remember Eric Clapton claiming that one of his women was OK because, after all, George Harrison had had her. I mean, who but very wealthy, idle and degraded men speak this way?
And don’t tell me he’s a wonderful guitarist. I know all about talent, art and how it doesn’t mean anything in terms of character or comportment. They are two different subjects. I tend to focus on the talent and ignore the lack of character.
But it is a two way street. If women did not play the game to be passed around, this would not happen.
It is just like women commenting how pigs men are because they cheat on their mates. The problem is that there is always a woman available to help the man cheat.
The same goes at that level of Trump and Murdoch. There is a always a woman available to help play the game.
When you understand why, you realize that this will always, always be the case.
Well, as the great film actress, Louise Brooks, once observed: ‘women have to eat.’ And that about sums it up.

Too funny. If they do it right women get rich. It’s the new sport.
I look around the world - not just the US - and I see women living in poverty, oppressed beyond belief. Not feminist ‘oppression’ but the oppression of the third and second world. We are very lucky to live in the United States. Men don’t do so well in these societies either so American men should buck up and give thanks for the land of their birth and not worry so much about the NOW gang.
