Math was never my strong suit. The old fashion methods utilizing
carrying, borrowing & other outdated methods such as long division are the only way I can solve problems. I must do it on paper.

The common core method of solving a simple subtraction problem makes no sense. I cannot even grasp the concept behind the method. It adds unnecessary clutter to my brain.

My God, I doubt I would ever make anything above a D if I had to learn that crap.

I understand what they are doing starting at 12 and adding nice numbers to get to 32, but this is an insane way of teaching mathematics. The old way worked just fine for me.
