President Barack Obama stands by his comment that Britain would move to the back of the queue when it comes to trade deals with the United States if it left the European Union, the White House said on Friday.
"Obviously, the president stands by what he said and I don't have an update of our position," White House spokesman Eric Schultz told reporters at a briefing.
Obama urged Britain to remain in the EU when he visited London in April and warned that a trade agreement between the two countries would not happen anytime soon if Britain left the bloc.

Fine, a nice point of contrast for Trump — now Shrillary must be forced to take a stance on this. Will she be foolish enough to follow Obozo over the cliff, or will she have to part ways with the man who holds her fate in his hands??
“Obama urged Britain to remain in the EU when he visited London in April and warned that a trade agreement between the two countries would not happen anytime soon if Britain left the bloc.”
and that arrogant statement by Obama is being attributed to the late surge by the UK citizenry towards their vote to
‘Leave’ the EU. Congrats Mr. Urkel. You did it again.
HIllary Clinton has quickly become the “Missing” candidate for POTUS!!! She cannot have more then two or three weakly attended rallies per week and, she cannot make a move or utter a word without it first being blessed by POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama!!!
Oh, I’m sure Obama can have his Czars concoct all kinds of ‘trouble’ just to spitefully punish the British for rejecting his threats disguised as advice.
A. obama’s “queue” will evaporate in 7 months.
B. Hillary needs to indicate whether the UK is at the back of HER queue. Of course, she hasn’t taken any questions from the media in six months and may not take any more from them ever again.
We respect the choice the people of the United Kingdom have made. Our first task has to be to make sure that the economic uncertainty created by these events does not hurt working families here in America. We also have to make clear Americas steadfast commitment to the special relationship with Britain and the transatlantic alliance with Europe. This time of uncertainty only underscores the need for calm, steady, experienced leadership in the White House to protect Americans pocketbooks and livelihoods, to support our friends and allies, to stand up to our adversaries, and to defend our interests. It also underscores the need for us to pull together to solve our challenges as a country, not tear each other down.

Donald J. Trump Statement Regarding British Referendum on E.U. Membership
The people of the United Kingdom have exercised the sacred right of all free peoples. They have declared their independence from the European Union and have voted to reassert control over their own politics, borders and economy. A Trump Administration pledges to strengthen our ties with a free and independent Britain, deepening our bonds in commerce, culture and mutual defense. The whole world is more peaceful and stable when our two countries and our two peoples are united together, as they will be under a Trump Administration.
Come November, the American people will have the chance to re-declare their independence. Americans will have a chance to vote for trade, immigration and foreign policies that put our citizens first. They will have the chance to reject todays rule by the global elite, and to embrace real change that delivers a government of, by and for the people. I hope America is watching, it will soon be time to believe in America again.

He’s still crying about Britians attempt to civilize his home Country Kenya.
Hey, Obama, guess what, YOU WON’T BE IN OFFICE, so I could particularly care less about your opinion as to when (or if) the UK (also known as one of our CLOSEST TRADING PARTNERS) gets to step up to the trade negotiation table...
Man, the hubris from this White House is incredible.
No one gives a rip what you think, Kenyan.
Maybe he is pissed in his new gig as head of the E.U. he won’t get the chance to destroy the Brits.
Only our best ally in the world and he’s gonna act like a third grader who doesn’t get what he wants.
Were the English still ruling his Kenyan homeland when he was born?
What an A-wipe. Like we cannot simultaneously negotiate trade with the EU and someone else at the same time. he’s so idiotic and such a smart ass.
I cant wait till he is gone and trump undoes 90% of what he’s done.
A guy of Obama’s caliber should never be put in charge of anything... Ever!
So it’s time to change that. We have to win so big they can’t even imagine being in power. And then we have to keep winning, push all their garbage aside and get on cleaning house until things are so good we only have history books about the multiculturalist nightmare experiment our nation survived, since none of their works will be left to point to.
He is upset because a white country just got off the hook for “climate change” remittances to black countries...
Apparently Obama and crew didn’t really mean FREE when they designed and passed the FREE TRADE AGREEMENT.
yes, thanks, but Hillary’s statement does not reference the “front of the line” vs. “back of the line” crucial issue on trade deals.
Obama has said the UK goes to lowest priority, back of the line. Obama is trying to punish the UK any way he can.
Trump has praised the close alliance and partnership, and emphasized that the UK belongs at the front of the line.
Shrillary must be confronted and forced to be specific on this issue. Either she parts ways with Obama, or else Trump has another good line of criticism against her.
I remember 2009 when PM Brown gave Obama a penholder made from wood from the HMS President. The Oval office desk is made from timbers of the HMS Resolute.
Obama reciprocated with some movie DVDs and later gave the Queen a set of his recorded speeches.
He’s been an embarrassment from day one.
