it was a day off, but I did work....on finishing my cleaning that I wanted done this week. I just took my time and it all got done. Felt good! :)

Since it’s going to be oppressively hot tomorrow, I plan to do some cleaning that’s been neglected a little. No intention of going out at all if not necessary.
We were very disappointed that the rain missed us this afternoon. SO CLOSE!!!
But we got a decent dose last night and are happy we got that. We hope it was enough that our little town will be able to shoot off fireworks tomorrow night. They have their 4th of July bash the weekend before the surrounding towns have theirs and tomorrow is the day. The city park is just across the lake at the back of our farm so we just sit in the back yard and watch. We don’t care for all the other activities during the day so don’t bother going.
Now watch it rain just around sunset!
