My wife and I kept a framed photo of Dubya and Laura on our office wall for over ten years. I really did consider him to be my president, and supported him through thick and thin for nearly his entire term.

I've gotta say, though, he really broke my heart during his last four years - squandering golden opportunity, after golden opportunity. to do something meaningful and structural, to change the rotten big government, crony capitalist system, which has been bleeding average Americans dry for decades.

I don't even know where that photo is, now. It came down a couple of moves ago, and was never put up again - and for good reason. He and his family were never a part of us. Not even a little bit.

We feel the same way. Really went all in for Dubya and put Laura on a pedestal. The deal he made with ethanol to get his education bill passed (working with or should I say colluding with Ted Kennedy) told us what a huge mistake we made.
