The votes in the UK to get OUT of the EU were those of workers tired of seeing their jobs taken by immigrants who didnt share the British tradition, culture, and spirit. Many of our neighbors across the pond have felt they were losing their country and culture and that unrestricted immigration was changing their nation. It didnt help that those wanting to stay in the EU branded the out group as racists or xenophobes. It was that many long time subjects of the British empire felt that their country was being lost to those who came to claim free benefits, jobs and education, but who also wanted to ignore what made the UK a great country and economy: its commitment to a moral authority and the rule of law and order.
Sound familiar?
This debate has deeply divided the UK, just as America has become deeply divided over essentially the same issues of nationalism vs. globalism. Ive been speaking out about this for yearsthat America can afford to welcome immigrants who want to assimilate into America, but CANNOT afford to lose its culture and country to those who have no intention of speaking English, accepting the American Constitution of fundamental rights of the individual and of private property, and the moral authority based on the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Not to worry, Mr. Trump wins in a landslide.
Which boggles my mind.
If the same thing happened Huma Abedin, I wouldn't all of the sudden vote for Hillary.
Who bases a vote on an unrelated circumstance? It's insane.
Organizations such as “True The Vote” will work to prevent such crime as voter fraud.
We also need to get the UN spy base in NYC out of the US.
That’s what the polls said but it doesn’t ring true. If something like that happened here and the media said it was Trumps fault I wouldn’t believe it and I certainly wouldn’t change my position 180 degrees.
Daniel Greenberg’s recent column on Orlando hits the same theme.
Islamophobia Kills

Coming to America after Brexit!
First the UK and in November, the USA!
DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT REGARDING BRITISH REFERENDUM ON E.U. MEMBERSHIP

The people of the United Kingdom have exercised the sacred right of all free peoples. They have declared their independence from the European Union and have voted to reassert control over their own politics, borders and economy. A Trump Administration pledges to strengthen our ties with a free and independent Britain, deepening our bonds in commerce, culture and mutual defense. The whole world is more peaceful and stable when our two countries and our two peoples are united together, as they will be under a Trump Administration.
Come November, the American people will have the chance to re-declare their independence. Americans will have a chance to vote for trade, immigration and foreign policies that put our citizens first. They will have the chance to reject todays rule by the global elite, and to embrace real change that delivers a government of, by and for the people. I hope America is watching, it will soon be time to believe in America again.

The other interesting divide in Britain regarding this national referendum on British sovereignty was age. Older voters supported leaving the EU much more so than younger ones.
I agree...the left right paradigm is becoming outdated.
Nationalist vs Globalist fits the current narrative much better.
Yep, and that caused a lot of consternation and confusion for those still looking for the most traditionally conservative GOP candidate during the just ended primary. Most are finally realizing that a lot of so-called conservatives were selling the the US out in the past to globalist interests.
If so, life goes on. On to 2020, 2024, 2028 and 2032.
” and then, suddenly, a large block of votes in a close-in district FINALLY reports and. . . VOILA! the Dem wins. . .”
Just ask Allen West, or Ol’ B1 Bob Dornan......
IT'S NOT ABOUT TRUMP!
Trump is merely the vehicle Americans are using to express their utter disdain, anger and frustration.
A vote for Trump is a vote to give the big ol middle finger to the global elites seeking to destroy national borders/culture/language of Western countries.
Actually...it is a phobia against Islamophobia that kills!
It seems to me we need to get a comprehensive list of these”global elitists” and start making life very uncomfortable for them...there are more of us then there are of them after all!
And I hope he has Ted Cruz in the passenger seat. :)
Perhaps letters should be sent to all outlying counties’ elections officials to hold back vote totals until the Richmond, Hampton area, and Farfax county region votes are released...indeed demand that those locales be released FIRST! That way the cheater regions won’t know how many votes to manufacture!. It can be camouflaged somewhat...send in all vote counts except for a couple of precincts out of each district...then wait for Richmond,Fairfax County and Hampton to release all of their votes....except for the few precincts they always hold back until every other district releases 100 per cent of theirs; only the other districts then say...”no unh, unh,,,,not until you release all of your vote counts first, then and only then will we release the rest of our vote counts. The Dems that scream the loudest against this proposal are the ones we will identify as the main vote riggers and we can then protest them vigorously!
I predict this would drive the Dem elitist cheaters bonkers. They would have to try to wildly inflate their votes to try to outguess what the other counties would release making some voting districts appear to have voted greater than 100 per cent of their registered voter bases and there-fore the cheat schemes more easily exposed!
You must be referring to Fairfax county.
Yep. I still remember when it was reliably Red. . . now it’s solid Blue, and Loudon County is turning Blue. .
I’m starting to think Huckabee may be the logical VP pick.
1) The VP should do no harm. I can’t think of any way Huckabee would hurt Trump as VP.
2) Huckabee has been penning some very pro-Trump articles lately. It’s clear he “gets it” when it comes to the political shift going on and the reasons for the shift.
3) Huckabee, like Trump, is comfortable in front of the camera. He understands it is a new-media world.
4) Huckabee can bridge the gap between Trump and the religious Cruz supporters (particularly thesocial issue first voters). Huck’s bonafides when it comes to conservative social issues are unblemished.
