Tony Robbins better find a way to motivate himself and his wallet when he gets burned in court with multiple lawsuits.

Obviously they were imperfect in their faith.

There is nothing wrong with increasing one’s confidence, will or belief in themselves.
However, this should be subject to the laws of nature, physics, thermodynamics, etc.......

more than 30 people attending a Tony Robbins event in Dallas have been treated for burns after the motivational speaker encouraged them to walk on hot coals. Say what you want. But any man that can motivate people to voluntarily walk barefoot through a fire must be pretty motivational.

I’m only guessing but it would seem likely (and prudent) that the participants were made to sign waivers before attempting such a stunt.

If they are stupid enough to walk on hot coals, they deserve to get burned. Some people never learn.

It said it happened in San Jose as well in 2012. He must do this every time. I’ve seen people do this, it’s not impossible. The length of the fire they walked must have been too long, or the coals too hot or something.

I’m sure he checked with his lawyers before doing such a thing. The participants probably signed waivers absolving Mr. Robbins of blame.
But then again some numbskull got $800K for spilling a McDonald’s coffee on themselves so anything’s possible in a transformed America.

The coals are supposed to be poor conductors of heat... the ash coating helps with that... but Lurch evidently screwed up...
