I stared tuning him out and now I feel guilty about it. My father was very much a Democrat but he really knew his stuff.

Harry was a different type of Democrat compared to what we have today. Truman loved his country and wanted to do what was best for it. The story is when he left the White House he and Bess drove back to Missouri in there own car. He was/is a good man.
