The Republican party better hope a coup doesn’t happen.
If it does it will be the end of that party. But maybe they would prefer that. If so -they need to be eliminated.
I don’t think it is the “Cruz” delegates any more.
It IS the “repubbie” superdelegates and party elite (who are “Cruz selected” by the primary voters) who have to vote Cruz first ballot, but who do not really want Cruz either.
And I am not too sure Cruz is responsible for this shitte either - though he “could” stop it by withdrawing formally.
