Must forward this link to older kid. She has plans of becoming a history teacher and this is exactly the type of story that’ll encourage the students to actually think about what happened rather than just memorizing dates. And hopefully it’ll have a positive impact on their mindsets, too.
Have the kids do it as a class project and have them act it out in a play. That would really make it real to them.
