Is it the UK total that counts?
Or is it the individual countries (England, Scotland, Wales, No. Ireland?)
Can Scotland remain in the EU, but England exit?
More than a ton of shitters in DC :)
Its still not over....
Could be the false dawn for the EuSSR side.
Well done Nuneton.
Scotland and London...
Even allowing that Ringo was barely a singer...
Not to mention barely a drummer ;-)
I love Ringo....he’s my fourth fave Beatle.
I think I heard earlier that “Northern Ireland is expected to vote Remain”. Of course Belfast is but one city in Northern Ireland. The largest though...
PBS (just now) and KCBS (one hour ago) just reported that brexit seems to be failing by about 2%. PBS gave some brit about 5 minutes of time to make a pitch for voting “remain”: basically, nervousness of existing job holders.
Oxford - Remain
That showed up in that very few people did a better cover of a Beatles song than the Beatles themselves (well, maybe Joe Cocker).
While a lot of people did Dylan songs better than Dylan.
in 2012 I went to bed early with Romney getting ready to give his coronation speech.....
and woke up to find that Romney had lost ...
Oh happy day...
:)
I would imagine the British Commonwealth. That doesn’t include the Republic of Ireland.....but Northern Ireland.
I'm in NC. A lot of settlers came here from PA down the Great Wagon Road. It looks as if they may have brought their penchant for suggestive town names with them. Two nearby towns are Horneytown and Climax.
LOL
I was up that night and found Karl Rove spinning FL and OH.
That’s when I knew it was over and went to bed.
It’s the overall count that matters in this case.
The individual nations of the UK could theoretically wind up going in different directions in Europe but not as a direct result of this referendum but only after future referendums that would break up the UK).
gosh, the Oxford academics love EU socialist bureaucracy, who would have guessed it?
As the late great Wm. F. Buckley once said of the Harvard faculty, better to be governed by the first 2000 names in the phone book.
LOLOL...Pete!!!
Cocker was awesome with covers. Saw him years ago in Sheffield, UK (his birthplace).
As an entrepreneur in the high-end audio business, a friend of mine is a highly acclaimed mastering engineer in LA who created the “Remastering from the true, studio master tapes” niche.
At one time, he went to Abbey Road studios to finalize remastering the Beatles. He was able to get copies from their studio master tapes...and some unreleased studio demos.
Alas, the fees they were asking would make the project a loss.
He was kind enough to give me 1:1 copies of those studio master tapes including the unreleased demo sessions - dry with studio chatter. Priceless gifts...and incredible sound quality.
As an aside, the most recent 24-bit remasters are the best sounding commercially available versions of their UK albums.
