As leading artists and executives in the music industry, we are adding our voices to the chorus of Americans demanding change.
Music always has been celebrated communally, on dancefloors and at concert halls. But this life-affirming ritual, like so many other daily experiencesgoing to school or church or worknow is threatened, because of gun violence in this country.
The one thing that connects the recent tragedies in Orlando is that it is far too easy for dangerous people to get their hands on guns.

Trash by hypocrites for hypocrites.
I hadn't heard of Christina Grimmie before that, but the shooting did receive a moderately large amount of attention. ‘Billboard mag: An open letter to Congress: Stop Gun Violence Now’
Dear Billboard,
If you think that gun violence is bad now wait till poed white folks have had enough of the commie left wing, the third world crazy goons hiding behind a so called religion made up by an illiterate nutjob and sexual pervert, and Mexicans who think they can walk into this country, commit any crime you can think of and just steal our country from under us, then you will see real gun violence.
So just keep pushing you dumb bastards and you will see the true meaning of what goes around comes around. It won’t be a pleasant experience.
“Right - all you Hollyweird nerds along with your Congress critters march into Chicagos neighborhoods and tell them Yall now cut that out”
I would pay good money to watch that.
