I don't fly anymore since way before 9-11.
I find road trips a lot of fun, plus you can take your time and enjoy the scenery.
I remember my first real vacation; a trip to Panama City Florida in 1966 when I was six years old. This was when the interstate system was only about 40 or 50% complete. I spent the entire trip sitting in the front seat between mom and dad looking at the scenery and loved every minute. Getting there has always been half the fun. Now I just have to convince Mrs. Henkster of that. After 30 years of marriage that shouldn’t be too hard, right?
