LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A British man accused of trying to take a police officer's gun and kill Donald Trump during a weekend rally in Las Vegas will not be released on bail.
Federal Magistrate Judge George Foley said at a hearing Monday that Michael Steven Sandford, 20, was a potential danger to the community and a flight risk. Sandford, who wore leg irons and appeared to tremble during the court hearing, is charged with an act of violence on restricted grounds and was assigned a federal public defender.

If the trial was in Kalifornia, Illinois or New York, he would have been patted on the head and given his release, probably some money and a weapon as well.
We let all these illegals in from nearly every country and do not check them out. At the least he is mentally ill and quite possibly has more issues- political- who knows? That is the problem in a nut shell, we don’t know anything about the people we are allowing in and we don’t keep track of them when they overstay.
Just the kind of illegal immigrant that brings nothing but trouble to our country. No doubt hundreds of thousands of dollars from Middle Class paychecks will be spent in doctors’ assessments, medications and now lawyers’ fees for this worthless Brit.
