A meeting was recently held within the high-rise confines of Trump Tower. On one side of the table sat Donald Trump and his three of his adult children, Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric. The opposite side of the table included the two primary targets of Mr. Trumps attention longtime Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, and a representative for the more recent addition to the Team Trump, veteran political operative, Paul Manafort. Manafort and Lewandowski have been at odds since the day Manafort arrived. Initially there were those within the Trump campaign who were fiercely loyal to the equally loyal, Lewandowski, and that was enough to keep Lewandowski in Donald Trumps good graces.

Bernie Goldberg called it - they were pumping Trump until he won the nomination, now it will be only bad news and lies here on out.
You can’t have two people in charge of the same organization - sooner or later they’ll clash.
The Court of The Donald was held in the House of Trump, and the verdict is You’re Fired.
I envy him being able to take his kids along for the ride.
If I were a fly on the wall...
>Bernie Goldberg called it - they were pumping Trump until he won the nomination, now it will be only bad news and lies here on out.
I watched Fox news pump up Ted Cruz for the entire primary.
This wasn’t a ‘co-equals’ anything, your thinking of Hill-Billy...
I’m talking about a Professional Business Man, that has built his own Company, trained his children, all of whom has successful business of their own, and the way a Professional Business Man operates...
You need to erase the Clinton RICO mafia crime family from your imagination, and think more like professional people do...
I used Trump’s ‘ahead of schedule, under budget’ plan when I built my company, which I still have, and it does work...
The Media Twits will ruin your life and your brain if you keep them in there and keep watching them...
I understand your point, but business owners and CEOs don't have to go to Congress and please the SCOTUS to get most things done.
My point is that anyone who thinks the President has the powers of a corporate CEO is going to be very disappointed.
Maybe this is why this Country is so messed up, we have been electing idiots that know nothing, lawyers, lobbyists, bankers, etc. to run this County, who don’t know beans to hell and back about how finances work...
And yes, he can get bills passed, why couldn’t he? He’s not Hussein, who EO’s everything because he knows it won’t pass, and he’s not the Bushes, who paid everyone off, and he’s not Clinton, that took money from foreign governments to intercede into OUR Government...
You have to quit watching the Media Twits...
Co-equal branches you say, well how is that working out now and for the last 7 years?
???
How about the last 228 years?
My point is that anyone who thinks the President has the powers of a corporate CEO is going to be very disappointed.
???
Name ONE thing the repubbie Congress has done to “oppose” Obola!
He demands, whines, pontificates, and “threatens” a potential veto. Threatens a potential speech by democrats to stop a filibuster. Never does either of course, but only threatens the speech.
And they cave.
They cave and don't even vote.
But they will fight Trump harder than than ever. Hell, they already are fighting Trump harder than they ever have fought Obola!
I hope Trump has a plan for a second and even third wind. This is playing out exactly as some here predicted. Let the mainstream bolster Trump through the primaries (because the progressives have a plan to defeat him) then pull back media coverage on him and focus on Hillary. Only negative press for Trump and the GOPe are playing right into their hands with this #never Trump BS.
The “One world order” will not be denied. The Brexit vote will tell the tale IMHO, if Britain votes to leave maybe the momentum is on our side, they vote to stay game over. Hillary becomes president because that’s what the NWO wants. I don’t believe in the ballot box anymore.
But he's going to have to put ads out, attack Hitlery on all the weak points the press won't mention AND mention his strong points-- immigration and trade.
Show the working people in America that he's the only acceptable choice for themselves and their children.
We also shouldn't discount the fact that many people are Trump supporters, but won't tell that to a pollster. My guess is about half the "undecideds" are really Trump or leaning Trump.
One last point: whites are 75% of the actual electorate-- win 67% of whites and you have a popular majority with 0% minority.
More like a king for the current king.
How about two? Cap and Trade and Comprehensive Immigration Reform not.becoming law?
I'm not going to defend the Republican Congress but people who say they gave Obama everything he wanted are wrong.
More to the point, if Trump wins it will probably be with 50.01% support. Those who think he'll be able to come in and dictate what happens in Washington just don't understand our Constitution.
The general election campaign requires a higher skill set. Manafort is it. This stuff happens every campaign cycle. It was the right choice. Corey will have another job shortly. There are a lot of political campaigns going on right now.
I sensed something wrong, or perhaps it was just Trump being Trump, defying his handlers who want to improve his speech and tone. Who knows what occasioned this awful effort.
I am one of the most prolific and loyal Trump supporters on this forum, but for my honest critique I received a number of polite but snarky comments later on as if I was a rat deserting a ship.
However, the very next day, even conservative TV analysts echoed the very thoughts I had posted on FR.
The Las Vegas speech was a waste of opportunity. I don't know the reason...my own thought was that despite looking robust all the time, he was tired through and through, and fell back on his canned, with the same-old, same-old sound-and-fury phrases, furiously tilting-at-unimportant, outdated windmills in a speech which he delivered this time in a shorter-than-usual span.
Maybe it was the behind-the-scenes turmoil we're reading about now, or maybe it was just obstinance on his part delivering the type of speech "that brought me here".....I don't know.
But I hope now that Manafort has full charge of the campaign and the Trump siblings are involved we won't see another Vegas-type speech. I would tear my hair out! To my critics I say.....I called the Las Vegas speech as I saw it...a dud! I don't wear rose-colored glasses when I watch a speech delivered by anybody.
As the wags say......"what is said in Vegas, should stay in Vegas" (in a basement somewhere, LOL)!
.....and tomorrow is another day!
GO TRUMP !!!

I thought about upcoming Father's Day, I thought about this phony crap in Orlando that Barky is trying to cover over, and I kept thinking, nope there is something else going on...
Well, now we know what it is...but I don't think that Trump is the type of friend that had the out’s with Cory, I think they just had a meeting, and it was decided that Cory would leave...nothing wrong in that, it could be Cory isn't prepared enough to handle a ‘national’ election...Cory did get Trump thru the primary with flying colors, but I wasn't a fly on the wall, unfortunately, and didn't hear all of the conversation...
Good Luck Cory, we appreciate what you did for Trump, now we are on to the ‘national’ part of this unprecedented campaign...
It shouldn't be surprising, it's business but on a higher level. Hell, this crap goes on daily in the world of sports and nobody but writers and fans piss and moan about it. Managers here today, gone tomorrow, players traded daily......etc.......
I know nothing about the background of political campaigns nor do I claim to know anything about Lewandowski or Manafort. If Trump's inside confidants choose to make the change, then I'm all for it.........
Corey Lewandowski statement: “I stand by the fact that Mr. Trump is a great candidate and is better than Hilary Clinton ever will be.”
Lewandowski also says he will represent Trump as NH delegate.

Weak attempt on your part to conflate two issues. There’s no contradiction between the poster’s comment and the founders’ vision of separation of powers.
The founders saw a need for an Executive branch and, within the context of separation of powers, a ‘man in charge’.
