Another talking point I've seen various churches push (and it's even pushed by some "conservative" religious FReepers) is that we should be THANKFUL that there are hordes of immigrants from third world Latin American countries here because "at least they are Christian" and they will preserve a "Christian culture" in America because the native born Americans aren't (a variation of the "doing the job Americans won't do" argument).

Of course, reality shows us something entirely different -- many of these immigrants are "Christian" only in the sense that they were baptized decades ago, and today they are non-practicing, don't go to church, and don't give a hoot that Christianity preaches that embryonic stem cell research is murder or that Obamacare forcing nuns to pay for abortions is immoral and so on. The only higher power they worship is freebies from the government.

But this simple fact is ignored by the "praise Jesus, the immigrants are CHRISTIANS" types pretending we're experiencing some type of great religious revival in America thanks to massive uneducated third world illegals.

That has more to do with churches getting government money to accept and house “refugees.” This is why the Catholic Church pushes illegal immigration. Follow the money! Most churches are hurting financially. Sadly, many are now secularists. Globalists.

Trump has been endorsed by the Grahams, Jeffries and Peterson! I think Osteen endorsed also. Trump has big churches. The older churches are open to selfish $$$ and humanism...churches who manifest, “What does God have to do with it.” They try to hide it, but most Christians see thru it.

Evangelicals and Charismatics are very supportive of Trump. They get what is happening in our nation.

Trump has large support among Christians. Once they discovered that Cruz’s 7 Mountain Dominionism faith is an unscriptual cult, they dropped him.

That is a huge lie. Perhaps some are, but the majority are not church going, believing individuals. Look at the thug mentality wherever they live. I find that argument to be a strawman. It sounds nice, but reality says differently.
