Donald Trump reaffirmed his stance on restricting individuals on the terror watch list from being able to purchase firearms, despite Republican objections.
"We have to make sure that people that are terrorists or have even an inclination toward terrorism cannot buy weapons, guns," Trump told ABC's White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl in an interview that will air Sunday on "This Week."

A “ton” of liberal positions would make a very long list. I’ve paid very close attention to Trump’s campaign for a year, and I’ve often read his position papers. I have not seen this alleged “ton of liberal positions.” Unless you have a list , it is a smear. Please post the complete list; thank you.

I suspect a lot of us would keep our mouth’s shut if Trump would learn to do the same or at least keep it shut until he could be bothered to educate himself regarding the issue.

Seems to happen on Friday and Saturday nights a lot. I suspect liquid courage is involved.
Then how come I got an Action Alert from the NRA on Friday asking me to call my Senators immediately and take up the issue with them?
Such alerts are rare and issued only when action is urgently needed.
If the NRA thought it was that important to defeat the bill, why was Trump supporting it? And why are you so blase' about it?

I agree. My main problem with the terror watch list is well I hate lists. But the criteria for being put on the list is the big problem. There is no real criteria at this time and if there is its a secret. At a minimum if a terror watch list is going to be maintained the criteria must be specific and transparent. Its a slippery slope denying people their rights if they have not committed a crime.
Personally I think Donald Trump is being forced into making snap decisions in order to win the presidency. He may or may not still feel this way after he has time to think it over.
