Chelsea Clinton, daughter of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, announced Saturday she had given birth to a boy named Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky.

Maybe I’m in a minority here, but I don’t see how a grandchild adds anything to Hillary’s campaign or image. I don’t see how it makes her more likeable. I don’t see how she gets more votes from Americans eager to elect grandma president.

In the last weeks of the campaign you watch and you’ll see Hillary carrying and cuddling her grandson in front of the crowds of sheep and the MSM will be there to fawn all over her and broadcast an image of a “comforting” grandmotherly woman who cares for the American people. They’ll contrast that with a “loud” and over the top Donald Trump. Hillary will be presented as a safe and comforting figure while Trump is an out of control person not to be trusted with the presidency. Friend, do not doubt the power of imagery and how it’s manipulated to maximum effect on a dumbed down American electorate.
And a heartfelt congratulations to proud grandfather Webb Hubbell.
They are rich enough to afford a clinic. Crime pays.

Aiden is a perfectly fine boy’s name of Irish origin. My daughter’s friend just had a boy and named him Aiden. Let’s face it, people of all ethnicities love Irish names!
Aidan is one of the most popular boys name right now, and is a good solid Celtic name. Our daughter was going to name her son Aidan but decided she already knew too many.
Mama too. Chelsea is a named partner in the Clinton Foundation.
