Theres a reason why former Speaker of the House John Boehner called Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz a son of a b.
Its apparently because Cruz is not part of the Republican establishment in Washington, often referred to as RINOs, an acronym for GOP members their critics have deemed Republicans In Name Only.
Cruz ran as an outsider in the presidential primaries until at last he conceded to Donald Trump leaving the billionaire as the presumptive Republican nominee.
But his primary loss hasnt slowed Cruz down as hes ramped up his efforts to upset Republicans in Washington by supporting another political outsider in Colorados Republican Senate primary. In the contested primary which the Denver Post calls anybodys game, Cruz has thrown his support behind Darryl Glenn.
Backed by conservative activists and funded by the Senate Conservatives Fund, Glenn isnt the RINOs choice to replace Democrat incumbent Michael Bennett. The Republican Washington establishment stands behind Jon Keyser, and if Glenn were to defeat Keyser and win the election, it would further irk those in Washington, who, like Boehner, already dislike Cruz.

I thought Cruz was on trial for being a serial killer?
Primary is June 28th!
“Its apparently because Cruz is not part of the Republican establishment in Washington”
Oh, he is establishment alright. It’s just that personally he is obnoxious.
I would have thought that he would be too tired for politics & endorsements what with the “4 mistresses” and all! ;-)
There is hope for Cruz...the Beck virus must be wearing off
The RINO’s need to be irked. Go Cruz! The GOPe has shown itself for what it is in their attacks against Cruz, and even now against Trump.
Way to go Cruz.
I'm not so sure, not after seeing today that he is one of those urging Republican delegates to not vote for the people's choice.
Today, the great David Horowitz called Cruz
‘Achilles sulking in his tent’ for not endorsing Trump while the Republic is being destroyed. An apt and witty description although as an avid theater goer, I remember a very young Alan Rickman’s vivid and sexy performance as Achilles in an RSC version so many years ago...the deeply annoying and petulant Cruz could never match that louche performance.
Well, he killed his career but we haven’t started prosecuting for that yet.
Get over it, Nick. Your boy lost.
Many serial killers come off as really friendly and personable. Cruz would totally fail here too.
I wouldn't walk across the street to piss on the lying illegal alien.
Eventually some senator is going to demand he prove his eligibility to be in the senate and prove his US citizenship. Which he can't, he has no CRBA and he had no passport at the time he slithered into the USA.
I wished we had a delete button on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“I thought Cruz was on trial for being a serial killer?”
Being an establishment tool isn’t a prosecutable offense.
Sadly.
No, but it can make you a presidential nominee.
In which state unfunny man?
Very nice, but not as impressive as a certificate of United States Naturalization.
