[[Just curious.. Is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi DEAD or NOT?]]
He is in Libya .
Look at where the money is going .
I remember when people said he didn’t exist and was a creation of the CIA to pretend AQI was still real.
Sad thing is we had the jerk. Too bad we didn’t rub him out then.
Are McCain and Graham wearing black?
It’s never over. Remember, they’re Arabs.
Obama is planning to bomb the Iraqi special forces to stop this escalation of the war.
Maybe they didnt, but the Holy Spirit of God of the bible might be another question. He doesnt need people to read the bible in order to exist. Certainly plenty of Christians have prayed to God to counter the madness.
kill them all and let Allah sort them out... I don’t think there are any virgins waiting for any of these scumbags....
Any male, over the age of 14 should be rounded up and executed...just to be sure.
“This is Fallujah we are talking about .
They are not dead just mixed in with their crowd”
I hear you on that. Unlike most ISIS strongholds, their troops in Fallujah are overwhelmingly locals (estimated around 85%).
But this time, it is not well trained and disciplined US Marines sorting through the crowd, but Shi’ite militiamen, guided by Iranian officers. There have been a mountain of reports of torture, and disappearances of young men. The assault this month came after months of artillery prep - so they are doing their damnedest to reduce the place to rubble and depopulate it.
General Sulemani, the point man for Iran, spent eight years fighting Iraq as a young man - akin to eight years on the front in in one of the World Wars. It is an historic payback opportunity for them, and an historic opportunity to shape the future.
The Iranian strategic plan is to annihilate Sunni resistance, Sectarian/ethnically cleanse areas, and establish de facto control over parts of Iraq, like they did in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon with Hizbullah. Diyala Province will be (is) their stronghold, and Fallujah is perhaps the heartland of Sunni resistance. The Iranians will try to get as much done to the Fallujans as they can, during this historic opportunity. A bunch of the local jihadi sympathizers are in for a third world/muslim-style purge. Happy Ramadan fellas!
They will still need US air cover for the assault on Mosul though, so there is still some restraint, at least with public relations and the press...
Will there be more cage burnings of retreating ISIS troops. Does wonder for morale, I hear.
When is obozo going to make a speech taking credit?
What crazy liberal policy can this be used to advance by lying to the stupid in America? I know, we need more teachers and we need to get rid of testing!
Fallujah Falls??? Absolute rubbish.
This is nothing more than ebb and flow. Even Ash Carter said there was “still some fighting to be done” as IS still controls a significant part of the city.
USGOV called their enemedia propganda arm for some “good news” as they sorely need it, even if it is a lie, so the sheeple take this with them into the weekend.
The correct answer is “whatever you’ve been told through the media.” This may change. The lie told at the end of the day is the truth, subject to updates, enhancements, clarifications, and mis-statement corrections.
Correct thinking, understanding, and belief is communicated daily via MSNBC and The View and NPR.
Exactly.
I spoke face-to-face with a senior Muslim terrorist about the very mix-in, disperse, re-form, or relocate tactics you mention. The US hasn’t learned a thing in three decades and ignores thousands of years of ME history.
Good call on Libya too; Egypt is in for a nasty future.
“Fallujah Falls??? Absolute rubbish.”
You may have a point, given how overblown most local reports usually are there.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes to clear out the remaining resistance. The ground forces commander for the operation, claimed that they would occupy the Northern neighborhoods “within hours”.
It may have been a command decision by ISIS to drop the defense and try to survive with as much future capability as possible. They get no ammo resupply, so they do face a hard stop at some point. Their losses have been high, and their hometown is being systematically demolished. As long as they resist, it is a free fire zone for heavy artillery and airstrikes.
Things definitely changed on Friday though. Some word likely went out, as the checkpoints that kept the civilians in were all abandoned within hours, unleashing a flood of refugees - maybe the last big flood that will be available, to hide within. The heavily prepared defenses around the edges have been breached, and the Iraqi Army has moved through a lot of the central part of town, with many fewer IEDs and tunnels to contend with.
Perhaps the Iraqi government is overly eager to declare victory, and fighting will go on for weeks - but it won’t change the outcome, and will only reduce more of the city to rubble.
And to think the U.S. Government put our own soldiers in prison for killing these worthless bastards.
yep!!! just in time for the election, and that fat creature will take credit even though obama CREATED ISIS or at least let it grow.
