I’m a Marine. I carried guns every day in Iraq, guns very similar to the ones used to perpetrate the Orlando murders and many other mass shootings in America. I’ve used guns in combat. On more than one occasion, guns have saved my life.

At least 300 million documented deaths have resulted from governments, 100 million of those within the last 100 years. All rifles, including the black scary ones, according to FBI statistics, kill less than 300 people a year. It would take a million years for ALL rifle murders to equal the number of people murdered by governments.
Given how our own government talks about Christians, a blind man can see what's coming if they get our guns. F%ck Seth Moulton in the @$$. Just because he served in the military doesn't mean he understand history, sociology or world politics, at least not at more than a third grade level.

I have a 28 oz. framing hammer that could be used to commit lots of mayhem. If that happened, it would become an "assault" weapon, or more accurately, a battery weapon. The legal definition of assault is "the crime of trying or threatening to hurt someone physically." Battery is the actual physical contact.
Yesterday patriotic, honest, responsible American citizens armed with an estimated
270 million guns, rifles and pistols and 250 billion rounds of ammunition harmed no one.

The Second Amendment protects us with having all the other amendments.
DPMS and other make a big block version in .308/7.62mm NATO. Armalite makes an AR-10 of the same size, but slightly different dimensions. All the usual AR attributes are there such as modular construction. The newer DPMS Gen 2 .308 rifles are a lot lighter than the first ones, barely heavier without ammo than many AR-15s.
