I know the origins of WDW. As I said, no REASONABLE PERSON would describe the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort as “wilderness water.” I hope you would agree there is a REASONABLE expectation that your child isn’t going to be snatched off the beach there during a resort sponsored event, whether you’re from Nebraska or Connecticut or even Florida.

I would have thought that WDW would have put up at least a small fence to help stop this kind of incident..............

The “happiest, safest, friendliest place on earth” isn’t going to spoil their image with “beware of the alligators” sign on a family friendly beach next to a child’s playground. This advertising, alone, is enough for a parent to feel they can walk with their child in a foot of water, safely, without their child being attacked by an alligator.
