My daughter-in-law has 2 kids, one under 2 and one under 4. Would not want my grandkids to lose their mom...my son is a wonderful dad, but I know he would take a bullet for his wife.
I would not want my daughter fighting on combat detail. BTW, she had an appointment to a military service academy, so not opposed to service.
