Orlando Gunman Was Gay, Says Former Police-Academy Classmate
NY Magazine ^ | June 14, 2016 | Claire Landsbaum

When Omar Mateen — a 29-year-old security guard — opened fire at Pulse nightclub in Orlando on Sunday, killing 49 people and wounding 53, it wasn't his first time at the club. In fact, according to at least four regular patrons, Mateen had visited the club several times before, and one — Chris Callen, a drag queen who performs at Pulse under the name Kristina McLaughlin — said Mateen had been going there "for at least three years."

Additional reports suggest Mateen had created profiles on multiple gay-dating apps: Grindr, Jack'd, and Adam for Adam, to name a few. And a former police-academy classmate of Mateen's said he believed Mateen was gay and had asked him out on a date. "We went to a few gay bars with him, and I was not out at the time, so I declined his offer," the classmate told the Palm Beach Post. He went on, "He just wanted to fit in and no one liked him. He was always socially awkward."

That picture makes me cry. And to think his killer is running for president.

I went to a Stand With Orlando rally last night. A tremendous crowd — 750 people, on such short notice -— especially for Johnson City, TN.

The MC told the crowd “Today, we’re all gay— today we’re all LGBT”: an identity of perversion, and I do not believe in that. The song chosen to warm up the crowd was “Imagine” (”Imagine there’s no country -— no possessions -— no religion —— no Heaven”): a creed of denials, and I do not believe in that, either.

I believe the Word of God will stand forever, and His Word is what I had on my sign: “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” And I got a lot of “Thanks-you’s” and huge hugs from mascara’ed boys gone silly and sloppy women gone butch. It all goes to show that, despite what divides us, it’s possible to share a degree of respect and understanding.

And you know what? I believe in that.

Orlando shooting was a terrorist attack. To spin it any other way in an insult to America.

I never considered the “gay + Muslim + rejection” angle. Wow, what an explosive combination.

So this was as much a revenge slaughter on a community that didn’t accept him as well as his religion compelling him to do so.

I’m sure it was very justified in his mind.

The way you deceptively edited that, it makes it look like I believe in "we're all LGBT."

Anyone who looks at the original #22 will see said I do NOT believe in that.

Watch your editing. One Katie Couric is already one to many.

So ISIS’ policy regarding gays in the military is “don’t ask, don’t tell”.

"... I’m not ready to buy the “he was gay” meme. It seems way too much like a push by the media to divert attention from his islamist motives"

I continue to contend that homosexuality and 'sudden jihad syndrome' go hand-in-hand. The Orlando murderer's homosexuality is tacit proof he was a genuine Islamic terrorist and by no means some kind of defense that he wasn't ideologically affiliated with radical Islam.

After all this time since 9/11, knowing what we know of the 'dancing boys' in the tribal areas of the Islamic world, plus no end of accounts from US soldiers and Marines serving in Afghanistan and Iraq about widespread homosexuality and pedophilia amongst the terrorists, to the DC Sniper John Muhammad and Lee Malvo, accounts of classmates of radicalized Westerners who'd gone to Syria and Iraq to become ISIS members and suicide bombers who said they were gay, to fatwas from terrorist mullahs who permit homosexual acts for those waging Jihad, we're still allowing people to pretend that homosexuality and radical Islam aren't bedfellows?

Take just one look at the picture of the orchestrator of the Paris attacks Salah Abdeslam and tell me if you have any suspicion that he's probably not gay.

The abject ignorance of Americans regarding Islam makes my brain hurt. Having trained quite a few Muslims from places like Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc., I can say with absolute certainty that homosexuality is rampant in Islam, especially in the Middle East. It’s considered perfectly normal for an unmarried, adult male to have sex with younger - sometimes MUCH younger males - because it’s not acceptable to have sex with a woman to whom you are not married. (Not that fornication and rape don’t occur, but they have that covered with Sharia when it occurs and the perpetrators get caught; it’s the woman’s fault.) Likewise, sex with animals is almost completely overlooked; a man has to excise his demons and fulfill his needs. “Any port in a storm, don’t ya know.”

I had one student tell me that sex with a young man/boy doesn’t mean that either one of them is homosexual and neither does “going back to the well” if one’s wife doesn’t do it for him anymore. Given the fundamental, i.e., Islamic legal/religious dictates concerning homosexuality, such dichotomies present Muslims with a real dilemma: “Whatever is a jihadist to do?”

The homosexual lifestyle doesn’t need a terrorist to be dangerous.

That said, evil men murder, guns don’t murder.

The left is eagerly pursuing this line so they can spin the story as “mentally disturbed gay man had access to an evil gun he shouldn’t have,” and away from “ISIS-directed jihad pursuing muslim kills gays because Islam says hmosexuality is a sin punishable by death.”

It may very well be true that he was gay, but it doesn’t change the fact that he clearly felt his actions were justified by Islam.

It does show that being gay doesn’t exempt someone from being a mass murderer.

Working for G4S requires background checks, permitting to carry side arms openly while on duty and regular requalification testing & background checks. At a minimum he should have lost his gun quals to the domestic violence.

DHS contracts security services to G4S, one of their largest security providers.

Something stinks big time in this “he passed all the FBI investigations” disinformation.

By the koran, his path to redemption was by slaughtering as many people sharing his deviancy as possible before dying himself.

I’m not sure why anyone is thinking this IS NOT ISLAM. it is.
