I backed Cruz on principle but the first speech DT made I said THATS the energy we need, not just to win, but for recovery and uplifting people, but I was reluctant vetting him...enthusiasm is not a recommendation. The “fruit of his tree” both as a person and a father got me, and I felt Trump/Cruz would be a winner. But then Cruz was tried in the fires and I saw more slag than silver...and then, well, y’know ;)

50+ years ago NC used to be one of the largest fabric producers. Now the mills are gone.
There is still a lot of cotton grown but mills are gone.
The New Orleans streetcars have been declared a national monument, so the newer cars running in New Orleans are copies of the Perles built from the original specs by a firm in Dubuque.
Fabric? Yeah I do a lot of sewing and the amount of fabric at Joannes fabric is very limited or very very expensive.

I have enjoyed many rides on these vintage street cars. Kind of reminded me of the street cars I took to and from high school along Western avenue in Chicago......
