The preceding Monday, less than a week earlier, I had returned to the United States for only my second visit in about two years. In the intervening time I had been on the front lines in Ukraine, in Iraq, and I had visited Paris days after the deadly November terrorist attacks. I think a better book to review this question from a different angle would be Brigitte Gabriel’s book “Because They Hate”.
We can wonder where that hate comes from, but I am satisfied that they simply hate. It is what their religion encourages and even requires them to do.

This is the “perfect man” who is their role model for what is right and wrong.
Lots of Muslims today are the descendants of peoples who were forcibly converted to Islam.
For lots of muslims, Islam isn’t a big part of their identity or thinking.
Each person who is nominally connected to the faith will accept it to different degrees and emphasize different parts.
Yet the original faith itself is violent extreme and wicked, so don’t be surprised when the children of secular muslims discover the original texts and start butchering people.
Lots of families who escape the brutality of muslim countries have children who rediscover their muslim roots and join terror groups. Many converts are made in prison as well who go on to brutalize innocent people when they get out.

It is not hate IMO, it is ideology. Ideology is taught in schools, be they church or public schools. Look at the perpetually offended Generation Snowflake. They are what they have been taught to be. Narrow minded fascists who cannot tolerate anyone or anything that doesn’t believe exactly as they do.
If you have “religious leaders” who stand in front of impressionable youth and teach that gays should be killed out of compassion, you will have some who act on their teachings.
