Outside of his supporters, in the political world, yes, he had a bad couple of weeks. The media assaults were brutal. Look at Twitter, look at the comments’ sections to various news article, etc. They had him portrayed as a racist (which is obviously not true but there were people who believed it). Not to mention, he had high profile Republicans who were bitter that they or their establishment pick failed to win who came out against them, and the media had a field day. When has a Republican nominee ever had to fight his own party like this? When has a Republican been called a racist by his own party? His poll numbers took a dive below Hillary to top it all off and showed him behind her in Kansas.
This happens. He had a bad couple of bad weeks before Wisconsin and with Wisconsin loss, and he turned it around. I think he’s bouncing back, although the poor guy doesn’t just have to fight his opponent like Hillary. He has to fight the media and members of his own party who frankly, I believe, want him to lose. This speech is important and could show the voters that he’ll be a strong, tough leader when it comes to terrorism. That’s what all but the loony left wants.
I believe Trump will do his part and stay the course that has brought him this far. It is up to the Trump supporters to stick with him and vote for him in November no matter how nasty it gets. That's what I meant by "don't go wobbly." If we stick together than we will see a good result in November.
The media?? The media has been hitting at Trump since the day he announced.
If you’re going to buy into their narrative, fine. Just don’t push it off, here, as TRUMP being the one who has ‘had a bad couple of weeks’. We know better.
He’s been fighting the three pronged, same head fight (media, the left, RINO’s) since day one. Unclutch your pearls and hang on. The Trump Train keeps on rolling.
