I will respectfully disagree with you on that, as I refuse to belittle the loss and sacrifice of those, who were slaughtered simply because of who, and what they are.
These people were targeted for death because they were homosexuals, but they were not martyrs in the strict sense of the term; victims yes, but not martyrs.
If they were given a choice at gunpoint to give up their perversion and they refused, then they would be a martyr to their cause, but in this case they were not.
