Well unless it was one of those “queer” congregations, or else going down Francis’ line of wanting to get lovey dovey with Islam. Both of which are roundly rejected by Catholicism’s traditionalists, but they are plagues that this communion has to deal with.
Well just so you know I’m one of those Traditionalists who roundly rejects Francis. I was making a point, although I should have kept it to myself, the obvious bias and disdain for Catholics on the religious forum. This thread was not the time or place for it. I sincerely apologize to you and everyone else for it.
And I try not to be generically offended at the Roman Catholic church. If I see things that I disagree with, I realize that there are things that I at least used to do (if I still don’t fall into them from time to time) that I know jolly well that God disagrees with. And yet God never walked away on me and waited until I had it right again, gently leading all the while. If I allow that God is any less gracious to any other part of Christendom, then I lie about God.
