Long ago I was in Crested Butte Colorado, in a old cowboy saloon. They were very proud to point out all the bullet holes in the fancy ceiling. Apparently, drunken miners and cowboys didn’t get the memo.
In the old days of wild wild west, there were no mass shootings, even though cowboys always had their guns in saloons. And people were probably afraid to antagonize any bar patrons because everybody carried. In short, the guns created a civil and orderly and law abiding society.
What gun control advocates from foreign countries do not understand (along with liberals in US) that there are more guns in private hands in US than there are people. With gun control, the law abiding will be stripped and the criminals will not obey any gun control laws.
