What should Republicans in California do with this race. Both are leftist DemcoRATS and there are no third party options.
Harris is pretty, but a San Francisco leftist. Loretta Sanchez may seek Republican votes, but she’s no moderate and she won her first election through vote fraud.
American citizens should abandon California
Harris will run away with it, she has National ambitions and Odinga likes her. He will be helping her in some way, he will just have to be a bit more covert since Harris is running against another RAT.
We know where camel-uh stands on the 2nd. Sanchez, probably a little less worse. (Like that? LOL!) Not my vote anyway.
What conservatives in Cal. must do is vote for Sanchez. If they don’t Harris will run for president in the future and very likely win. Imagine a good looking female Bernie Sanders (yes, it boggles the mind, I know). Harris is hugely popular among the hard left, and is the most dangerous dem. candidate in the country. WAY more dangerous than Warren. Lots of CA conservatives voted for Sanchez in the primary to try to stop Harris.
The republican got 8%—yes, 8% was the take for the leading rep.
CA is dead. Our only chance is for reps. to turn out and put the other lefty in, because she is going NOWHERE and that would greatly hurt Harris in the future.
If elected to the Senate, Kamala Harris would be on the road to the White House; if elected to the Senate, Loretta Sanchez would never be able to go any further. Just for that, I’d vote for Sanchez (and then take a long shower).
be happy to sit that one out. there’s no corrupt, romneyite republican in the race to stab us in the back, all the blame for the failures of either of them falls on the ruling dems, and we get a rookie leftist senator replacing a senior leftist senator. that’s as good as it gets for conservatives in ca, since there are no real gop conservatives outside of mcclintock left in ca.
It doesn't matter. They are irrelevant, except in local races.
CA GOP voters should sue. Voters should have a right to choose between the party nominee of each party in a GENERAL election. Otherwise, the General Election is being treated as a primary runoff.
I agree with Auh and Continental, Harris is a threat to run for P/VP in the future, we could cause a career setback for her by electing Sanchez instead.
In addition Sanchez made a comment that up to 20% of Muslims support terrorism, that’s a very very low estimate but much higher than the tiny % that most libs would have you believe.
As distasteful as it is to vote for the original POS elected due to the votes of illegals, what we have here is a binary choice between awful and worse, I would vote awful if lived there and urge CA Republicans to do so rather than sitting on their hands. This new election system has screwed us, we can screw them back a little by throwing up a roadblock to the ascension of their latest hyped-up “star”, Harris.
2014 saw a D/D runoff for the officially non-partisan post of State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Republicans could have secured the election of the more moderate rat, but failed to do so and the wholly union owned incumbent won the runoff.
