D.L. Hughley on Trump: ‘You Can’t Be a Little Pregnant and You Can’t Be a Little Racist’

D.L. Hughley isn’t one of the Kings of Comedy for nothing.

While visiting MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning to promote his new book Black Man, White House: An Oral History of the Obama Years, the 53-year-old comedian had some biting words for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“I think he’s a racist,” he told host Joe Scarborough when asked about what he thought of Trump. “You can’t equivocate. If I’m in a car, and somebody I’m with commits a crime, I can’t make a reasonable argument that I didn’t know.”

“And I think you can’t be a little bit pregnant, and I don’t think you can be a little bit racist.”

“Racist” is quickly losing its original meaning, and has come to be applied inappropriately so often, it soon loses its power altogether. When it is applied to persons of Northern European origin only, and other xenophobic acts by non-whites are ignored or excused on the basis of “fairness”, then the term itself is xenophobic and unworthy of discourse.

Judge Curiel, were he a competent and even remotely free of bias, would have sent this case to summary judgment long ago. As a civil case, it is essentially dead letter, as the original plaintiff demolished her suit, and was removed, because of earlier statements on record that she spoke glowingly of Trump U. Her veracity was called into question, and no other plaintiff mounted an argument even remotely on the same level.

Hughley, the racist, certainly has parleyed his skin color into a career. Perhaps the cloak of PC is just too torn to shield these shills.

D. Trump is no racist. That is a lie. However, yes, one can be a little racist. There sure can be different degrees of racism.

“It’s ok if comedians say racists things. In Comedy you can say anything and its art.”

You’re absolutely right. Why did the D. L. Hughley cross the road?

Because the old lady with the dog had him in a Ziploc© bag, and he had no choice. ;)

‘False analogy’/`All or nothing fallacies’ Epistemic/Evidential fallacies

False analogy: In an analogy, two objects (or events), A and B are shown to be similar. Then it is argued that since A has property P, so also B must have property P. An analogy fails when the two objects, A and B, are different in a way which affects whether they both have property P.
Examples:
Employees are like nails. Just as nails must be hit in the head in order to make them work, so must employees.

All or nothing: When it is suggested or implied that one must believe all or nothing of a particular set of beliefs.
This fallacy is related to the false dilemma fallacy and the piggy-back assumption fallacy.

He’s a funnyman, and it shows.
I’ve never understood why so many (I want to say all) comics march lockstep with the left like so many programmed robots, but suspect a lot of it is needing acceptance from their peers.
Many of them have their liberal arts degrees—like politicians and the obligatory law degree ticket they rarely/never use—but the comics never seem to have learned the key to a classic liberal arts education, that is, the point of it all: how to think for themselves instead of simply parroting in various ways exactly what their peers are thinking and saying.

I don’t think you can be a little bit racist.”

Playing the race card, the victim card, and the self pity card are about the only things libtards can do. Since they function with a disintegrated mode of thought, what they call thinking is nothing more than a default response.

Probably, even though there were a bunch of my kin folks who fought for the Union during the ‘unpleasantness’ during the early 1860’s. :>)

He’s accusing the judge of being an activist who is a member of a racist organization and also supports a boycott of defendant Trump’s businesses. No impartiality there...

Sorry, but it hasn't lost its power. The Left has used it effectively many times as part of the politics of personal destruction. Reps cower when it is used. Paul Ryan attacked the racism of Trump. Romney calls it "trickle down racism."

You tipped your hand dimwit. Normal people that don't associate with criminals or commit crimes themselves, don't think like that...It never enters their mind, even when they get in a car with a friend.

“That’s the left’s definition of racism!”

The left is also the bibles definition of reprobates,

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” Romans 1:28

See also Deuteronomy 28, Judges 2, and Psalm 106 for what comes after,
