The faction of the GOP that is unhappy with Donald Trump as the party's presumptive nominee has one last plan to stop the mogul: staging an all-out delegate revolt at the Republican National Convention.
The far-fetched idea is the latest reflection of a campaign cycle that has been anything but ordinary, and stems from a continuing dissatisfaction among some conservative stalwarts with how Trump is behaving and running his campaign. But two longtime GOP veterans says they wouldn't bet on the effort working.

Those participating in this travesty are complete losers. Didn’t these fools take their pledge to support the candidate? Trump won, you fools...you WILL lose one way or another. Never vote in any fashion or support these idiots again. Losers.
Even if the delegates changed the binding rules somehow and swapped in someone else, that would not improve the November outcome.
Put differently: even if your view is “Trump’s going to lose,” it’s clear that the fallout from this gambit would only make matters worse.
The #NeverTrumpers are GOPe, not GOP. They are members of the DC Uni-Party, along with the DNC and MSM.
Let’s not forget that Cruz sill has not honored his pledge.
[Staging an all-out delegate revolt at the Republican National Convention].
The GOPe tried to ramrod gay marriage into the Illinois party platform - insisting it was already a done deal. Did they ever get a rude awakening when 80% (mostly TRUMP & CRUZ delegates) rejected it.
That’s how it will be at the GOP National Convention. The vast majority are TRUMP & CRUZ delegates. The GOPe will have no voice. No wonder many are skipping the event.
I shall do the same..Independent or whatever new conservative movement emerges
You speak for me!
Well said ; the msm is stirring the pot...
They’re still hoping for a Hillary win.
This is coming from that scumbag dishonorable Canadian correctly called Lucifer.

“We have a war to win against a very crooked politician,” he said at a rally in Tampa on Saturday, referring to Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. “I don’t want to waste a lot of time trying to defend ourselves against these phony (politicians).”
“The Republican Party has to come together, they have to get their act together,” he added, citing the potential for the next president to nominate multiple Supreme Court justices as the stakes in the race.
