This thread's title article is not exactly News/Activism either, so fits better in with "bloggers", nonetheless.

That said, there is a place for this type of thing, here on FR. I do think this one, recently "new" contributor, SAT2014, in comment #45, showed to me there they were not just another run-of-mill blog-pimp. I thank them for the background, personal info.

Mugabe's Zimbabwe is demonstration project enough (demonstrating serious systematic failures), showing how the Marxists are just a different sort of overlord, the sought-for cure to all ills being even worse then the previous, perceived-to-be ailment.

Having a next-door-neighbor example is not enough good example of just how bad that kind of thinking is, for some (but thankfully so far, not all?) of black South Africans, for not all are solidly behind him. Replacing those who know how with the "fist" of top-down State control (over all things) has yet to lead to anywhere near Utopian society, every single time and place it has been attempted.
