Talk grows of replacing Trump at GOP convention

There is growing talk on the right of replacing Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for president, and even chatter about a possible alternative.

As Trump has floundered over the past week after questioning a federal judge’s impartiality because of his Mexican ancestry, Trump’s critics within the GOP have stepped up their efforts to thwart him. Some anti-Trump conservatives, who have tried for months to recruit an independent candidate, have begun looking more closely at attempting to persuade delegates at next month’s GOP convention to nominate someone other than Trump.

“There is a rapidly moving train toward the convention to try to obstruct it at the convention. Trump in the last 72 hours has given hope to people who think it’s now possible,” said Erick Erickson, a conservative radio talk show host and one of Trump’s most resolute critics.

“He’s starting to give everybody hope that he should be stopped at the convention,” Erickson said, though he cautioned that if Trump “cleans up his act then I think that hope will go away.”

The Republican party is in total panic mode. They will (and can) do everything to get their own stooge into the presidental office...

I think they're willing to just write off the election on the theory that they can play footsie with Hillary and keep up business as usual.

Third-string radio talkers trying to get attention by bashing Trump
Howard Stern proved that bringing on strippers is far more effective.

If Hugh Hewitt replaced his usual broadcast with a detailed blow-by-blow description of two women undressing each other and having kinky lesbian sex on the floor, he would quintuple both the ratings and the educational value of his show.

I have thought the same thing...so not strange to me.

To me he is like our George Washington - the Indians thought he was some sort of God because they couldn’t kill him despite delivering kill shots with arrows.

We will see....I pray it is true. I think this is our last chance. About 2 weeks ago I posted a link to a prophecy that was quite interesting, the man speaking said the same thing.

Yea, Trump's supposed to just sit back, be quiet and not fight back while Hillary and the left throws everything including the kitchen sink at him. That sure worked for McCain and Romney really great.

Erick Erickson and Hugh Hewitt are second tier GOPe wannabes that apparently have not yet received word Trump won over 1500 delegates and is now the unstoppable Republican nominee.

There’s growing talk that those who oppose Trump are going to unite around him.

Voted Trump in our California Primary this last Tuesday, probably the last vote I will ever cast for Republican candidate.
On all the other items or candidates it was either NO, or I wrote in LoJack James.
Jack was my good old boy Newfoundland/Lab mix; he died last December 30th, but would still make a better more trustworthy, more honorable, more honest candidate than all the rest.

The Republicans of today’s Republican party are no better than the Democrats when Tip O’Neill was the House Speaker under President Reagan. In most cases they are much worse in their globalist policies and political correctness.
I have been calling them REPUBLICRATS for around 30 years now.

They better not.

Or they will see a huge write-in campaign.
