No length of coattails was going to rescue Ellmers. She’d ticked off the folk in her district pretty badly.
Her comment about why she was still getting paid while the government was shut down - “Well I need my paycheck” did not sit well with the voters here in NC plus all her open border support, etc...............BYE!!!!!!!!!!
